Budlight themed party!!!

This year my husband and I decided to have a joined birthday party but anyone who knows me knows I must have a theme for any party. My biggest challenge was finding a theme we both can agree on. I went on the hunt for the perfect theme I'm sure I spent many many hours online looking for ideas and NOTHING! One day me and my sister were talking and we come up with a unique crazy idea to have a Budlight themed party. I knew by having this theme it wasn't going to be easy to find decorations but I fell in love with the idea. After searching and searching the web I came up with nothing and that is when I knew it was time to let my creative juices flow.

These were the centerpieces. I had Budlight Lime and Budlight bottles for the centerpieces. What I did was use a technique I found on you tube to cut the bottle in half using acetone, string, lighter, and ice water.Tutorial on how to cute a glass bottle..  I warn you its not as easy as it looks in the video most of the bottles had rough edges. After inspecting bottles and keeping the ones I liked. Now I had to come up with a easy way to smooth the edges which I didn't. What I did is use hot glue to cover the the rim so no one would cut themselves. Next I attached the tops to the bottom with hot glue and then glued that to the plate. I bought these unique and fun flowers from Albertsons and put some food coloring in the clear bottles to make it look more fun!

This was my masterpiece of the day my cupcake stand. I used around 30 empty beer cans for the support and cupcake boards which I bought at Hobby Lobby. I hot glued the cans to the boards. make sure you give it enough support in the middle and the corners with the cans. The base I glued two board side by side to make it that large. As for the 25 on top I traces the numbers onto the beer box and cut it out and I supported the numbers the some floral wire I had. As for the cupcakes I made them I used silver cupcake liners and my sister frosted them with green frosting and wrote a 25 on them with blue frosting.

As for the basket on top ( sorry a little blurry) my sister made it. How to make a shot basket. It was very easy and fun.
I also made my own Budlight Lime shirt. Sorry its been washed a few times and its wrinkled but I didn't take a picture of it before the party. I bought a v-neck shirt and bought the the printable iron on paper from Hobby Lobby. This particular paper had glitter on it which I loved.

As for the other decorations I just used three primary colors for everything which were blue, green, and silver. If you have any questions about any of the stuff hit me up.. :)

  2. Wow! These are some out of the box ideas. My sister also made a bottle designed cake for my birthday last year. The party was in one of the venues in Chicago and all my cousins and friends were a part of it. I enjoyed each and every moment of the party.
